Sheriff Accused of Stealing From Nordstrom

L.A. County Sheriff Sgt. Steve Flamm was in Ventura County Superior Court this week to face chargers of grand theft and child endangerment.

Flamm, 44, was accused of shoplifting two jackets from the Nordstrom department store at the Thousand Oaks Mall on May 1. His daughter, who is under the age of ten, was with him when the theft is said to have taken place.

After the hearing, Flamm was arrested again when a closer review of the stores surveillance recordings showed Flamm allegedly stealing $900 worth of video games on June 3 at the Sears store in T.O’s Janss Marketplace.

Flamm’s bail of $10,000 was increased to $50,000 to reflect the new charges.
