Westlake Man Commits Suicide

Last Friday, neighbors observed a man in his 50s shot and kill himself in his front yard.

Police spokesperson Eric Buschow said the man used a shotgun and his body was found about 8 feet from the street.

Two women were walking a dog past the home and spoke briefly with the man. After they continued walking they heard a “pop” sound and saw the man fall backward toward the ground.
